Working Principle

This passive fiber cable uses 8 active multimode fibers (out of 12) in a crossed configuration. Light transmitted from pins 1–4 on one connector is received on pins 9–12 on the opposite end, and vice versa. The remaining fibers are unused. This bidirectional crossover design allows direct connection between compatible transceivers without additional hardware.
